Samsara Sanctuary
A private retreat for slow, restorative stays
Tucked privately away on Samsara Farm, the Sanctuary is our most intimate stay: warm, textural and deeply calming.
Designed for couples, two friends or small adult groups, it brings together thoughtful interiors, outdoor bathing, a firepit, patio dining and the quiet presence of the surrounding gardens.
Samsara Farm Cottage
A spacious cottage for quiet gatherings and hinterland exploring
The Cottage is a generous three-bedroom retreat within Samsara Farm, with warm living spaces, a full kitchen, private patio and rolling hinterland views.
It is a peaceful base for friends, adult families, wedding guests, creative stays and longer escapes, with Federal, Bangalow, Byron, Brunswick Heads, markets, festivals and restaurants all within easy reach.
The property setup
Private stays on a hosted rural property
Your hosts, Phil and Jane, live in the main farmhouse on Samsara Farm.
We are nearby if you need anything during your stay, while making sure that our guests enjoy quiet, privacy and space. Both the Cottage and the Sanctuary have their own private patios, gardens and views. The pool, creek and food forest are available for all guests to share and enjoy.
What guests notice most
The feeling is what people remember
Guests often tell us the photos do not quite capture the feeling of being here: the calm that settles on arriving, deep sleep, lazing inside and out. Sampling the best of the region then returning to wind down once more.
Life at Samsara Farm
Everything else falls away
Samsara Farm is home to ornamental gardens, kitchen gardens, orchard trees, native bees, chooks, abundant birdlife and the occasional wallaby moving through at dusk. When not out exploring our local beaches, markets, galleries and restaurants, guests are welcome to wander, explore the creek and gardens, take a dip in the pool, or simply sit and watch the yellow cockatoos spin lazy circles.
